Introduction¶

The Lima2 Client provides a unique python interface to the multiple components of the Lima2 distributed systems to hide the communication layers (currently using Tango) and the topology of the system.

Lima2 is a C++ library but the library also comes with a Python binding. A PyTango device server for remote control is provided as well.

We provide Conda binary package for Windows and Linux. Check out our Conda channel.

Developments are ongoing and available from GitLab. You can find stable version releases through git branches and tags on GitLab releases.
